Logistics Coordinator
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing customer orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, warehouses, and logistics partners. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a manufacturing background and a strong understanding of supply chain operations. Responsibilities: • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are entered into the system. • Coordinate delivery schedules by working closely with warehouse teams and logistics providers. • Communicate with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the shipping process. • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical issues that arise. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a seamless workflow and share responsibilities as needed. • Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency. • Handle a manageable volume of orders, averaging 80-90 per month, with precision and attention to detail. • Adapt quickly to new procedures and systems, demonstrating a proactive and hands-on approach. • Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation and order details for reporting purposes. Requirements • Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations. • Background in manufacturing or related industries is preferred. • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal teams. • Proficiency in order entry and familiarity with logistics systems. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Quick learner who can adapt to new processes and tools with ease. • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
