Logistics Clerk- Multiple positions

Position Summary: 

Penske Logistics is looking for clerks to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.  You will utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers.

 

 This is a new operation located in Groveport 

Shipping and Receiving Clerk- 1st and 2nd Shift 

1st Shift - Monday- Saturday - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Saturday - 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Compensation:

1st Shift - $21.00 per hour

2nd Shift - $21.00 + $1.00 per hour shift incentive 

Major Responsibilities: 

• Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting

• Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse 

• Reporting, maintain of files, customer service interaction, resolution of pallet tracking.

• Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor

 

Warehouse Inventory Clerk- 1st and 2nd Shift 

100% Warehouse Environment 

1st Shift - Monday- Saturday - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Saturday - 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Compensation:

1st Shift - $21.50 per hour

2nd Shift - $21.50 + $1.00 per hour shift incentive 

Major Responsibilities: 

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage – at times process may deviate
• Responsible for completing counts, random audits, and reconciliations
• Inspecting in bound parts for quantity and quality issues
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight – at times process may deviate 
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
• Research and reconcile product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product

• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

 

This is a new operation located in Obetz, OH

 

Customer Service Associate - 1st and 2nd Shift 

1st Shift - Monday- Saturday - 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Saturday - 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Compensation:

1st Shift - $21.00 per hour

2nd Shift - $21.00 + $1.00 per hour shift incentive 

Major Responsibilities: 

• Audit of picker activity/accuracy, warehouse reports, maintain of files, customer service interaction, resolution of pallet staging/tracking. Maintenance and distribution of order sheets, daily interface with pickers, assist with picker coverage of vacation and overflow freight • Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling shipping documents, office supplies, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting • Assist operations with passing out orders to be picked and document time out/in, picker's name and piece count for daily activity log.  • Liaison for internal customer support • Data entry and record processing in variety of WMS and MRP systems. • Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor   Inventory Control Clerk- 1st and 2nd Shift 

1st Shift - Monday- Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Friday - 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM

Compensation:

1st Shift - $21.50 per hour

2nd Shift - $21.50 + $1.00 per hour shift incentive 

Major Responsibilities: 
• Ensuring system count matches physical inventory

• Ensuring proper rotation of product

• Accurately receive inventory

• Data setup and validation

• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

 

Shipping and Receiving Clerk- 1st and 2nd Shift 

1st Shift - Monday- Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

2nd Shift - Monday-Friday - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Compensation:

1st Shift - $21.00 per hour

2nd Shift - $21.00 + $1.00 per hour shift incentive 

Major Responsibilities: 
• Utilize WMS to audit parts for delivery routes

• Identify, investigate, and correct route discrepancies

• Receive and dispatch drivers in a timely manner

• Prepare, manifest, and dispatch outbound loads correctly.

• Coordinate driver activity with the dock to ensure timely receiving of inbound loads

• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
• 2 years of general office experience required
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Strong counting skills 
• 1 year of customer service experience required, 
• No prior general warehouse experience required, but strongly preferred.
• 1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Proficient reading and counting skills and ability to follow directions as required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Able to enter orders in scanners and PC software.  
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
