Job Description
The Logistics Clerk serves as a key support role within the logistics and materials management function, responsible for coordinating daily logistics activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating stockroom operations, and resolving system-related issues in SAP S/4HANA. This role also supports transportation, material flow, and inventory accuracy initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement across HydraForce North American operations.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, serving as the main contact for transportation and shipment management
Oversee stockroom operations, including material storage, labeling, issuing, and cycle counts
Monitor and resolve COGI and consumption errors in SAP S/4HANA, working with production and materials teams.
Investigate and reconcile missing parts (MIA), ensuring inventory accuracy and material availability
Review, approve, and resolve freight invoice discrepancies in collaboration with Accounts Payable and carriers
Provide monthly reporting, and support logistics budgeting and cost analysis
Collaborate with Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, and Production on material flow and support additional duties and special projects as needed
QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED
1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials management, preferably in manufacturing
Proficient in SAP S/4HANA, including inventory, goods movement, and logistics modules
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
Basic knowledge of freight, trade compliance, and inventory control processes
