Description We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting pharmaceutical shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the accurate packaging and delivery of medications. The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work on your feet throughout the day. Responsibilities: • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. • Prepare boxes and packages for shipment, including handling refrigerated medications that require special packaging. • Process orders and manage the intake of medications, verifying inventory and ensuring proper storage. • Conduct light computer-based tasks such as data entry to maintain accurate records. • Handle the mailing of medications to customers, following prescribed procedures. • Organize and shelve incoming medication shipments efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support smooth logistics operations. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office Suites. • Familiarity with logistics management systems, such as IBM AS/400 or similar platforms. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods. • Basic data entry skills and computer literacy. • Effective communication and customer service abilities. • Previous experience handling deliveries or cargo is a plus. • Capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
