**About the role:**
The Logistics Analytics Associate Manager will report to the Logistics Services Director, the ideal candidate is responsible for defining and delivering the governance, processes, tools and solutions to drive the organization toward a fact-based, data driven culture. This role will plan and deploy analytics and reporting tools and structure to support Value Add quoting and order management activity, warehouse management and manufacturing management.
**Responsibilities**
+ This role will work closely with leaders and functions across the business to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
+ Responsible for the day-to-day management of an analytics team to support functions of Logistics or Value Add department(s), ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
+ Ability to manage personnel - hiring, developing, workflow scheduling and resource allocation for more than one department/functional area and/or technical production within a business group. Strategic planning and process improvement through CPI or Lean principles.
+ Ensures performance of department goals, including allocation of headcount and process improvements to analyze and improve efficiency. Responds to internal and external customer inquiries. Participates in making basic improvement enhancements.
+ Trains and acts as an informal mentor to junior members of supervisory staff. Assists level 1 Supervisors in developing the technical skills necessary to make informed decisions.
+ Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data warehousing and analytics techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
+ Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
+ Own the design and delivery of data sets that enable self-service reporting to analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
+ Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
+ Operational support of the key analytics platforms and system tools, such as Oracle Discrete Manufacturing System (DMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
**Requirements and Qualifications**
+ Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team
+ Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
+ Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from director
+ Accountable for the results of medium-sized routine support or production operations teams
+ Solves problems based on practice and precedent
+ Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations
+ Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a data analyst or data warehousing position or equivalent
+ Demonstrated success leading analytics initiatives as well as vast experience working with a wide range of data in order to support business objectives
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate analytical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
+ Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
+ Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
+ Experience working with Public Companies and leading or managing Sarbanes-Oxley related IT general and application controls testing – plus.
+ Knowledge of latest technology advancements in Oracle database is desirable
+ Experience leading and supporting analytics projects from business case creation to project execution (including managing a project plan and providing monthly status updates)
+ Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
+ Degree in business administration or a technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience
+ Experience with Agile project delivery framework desirable

**Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:**
$38,000.00 - $66,880.00 MXN Monthly
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
