Logistics Analyst Lead
**Job Title** Logistics Analyst Lead **About the role** The Logistics Analyst Lead fulfills imagery collection equipment movement requests (domestic and international) through the product lifecycle keeping in mind country specific regulations. Liaising with 3PL partners such as FedEx, Expeditors,etc. is a key responsibility. Additionally, they support stock management, scheduled stock count, and forecasting. **In this role, you will:** + Stock management, forecasting and supply of imagery equipment. + Global coordination of equipment delivery and return. + Manage & track tickets till the receipt of shipment. + Provide Equipment Buy Support, Logistics & Liaison support with shipping partners. + Manage the equipment used in image collection and manage equipment inventories at hardware depots. + Overseeing the life cycle of a product, including shipment, order updates, packaging & labeling, and legal clearances. + Work with Client Trade Compliance team and Third-Party Logistics Service Providers (aka 3PLs) to make sure that all international shipments comply with export & import regulations iv. Contractor will have to visit the warehouse(s) to conduct a physical count of inventory or train local warehouse personnel. + Plan and implement inventory movement optimization (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning) and oversee inventory procedures + Manage shipment requests for domestic and international orders and procedures of platforms and disks, and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders through delivery + Work with trade compliance team and 3PL to make sure that all international shipments comply with export/import regulations + Conflict resolution: Resolving conflicts that may arise within the team. + Delegation: Relying on the skills of each person and distributing tasks accordingly. + Goal setting: Determining the goals that members can work toward. + Time management: Supervising teammates and ensuring that tasks are completed within the given deadline. + Providing resources: Ensuring that team members have the appropriate tools and resources to function effectively. + Stakeholder Management: Internal stakeholder and client management to communicate updates and statuses of team activities. **Work model:** On site At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
