The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting critical transportation metrics, data quality, service performance and proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review, monitor, analyze & report the critical transportation milestones from booking through to final delivery Analyze transport data to drive service level improvements Proactively identify, resolve and report any transportation issues or delays in coordination with transportation service providers Pro-active communication of transportation-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, environmental delays, and geopolitical factor Collaborate with Regional Transportation Teams to drive initiatives aimed at enhancing overall transit time performance Collect, analyze, and report key transportation metrics, including on-time delivery and transit times, to evaluate performance and detect trend Assist in maintaining accurate data within control tower systems, ensuring smooth updates on transportation movements and potential disruptions using freight forwarder reports and BN4L-generated reports

 

What your background should look like:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in transportation gained from the service industry (freight forwarder, shipping line, transportation), distribution center or manufacturing Preferably with hands-on experience with a control tower platform

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Macro) Experience with global transportation in transport operations or function, and understanding of transportation modes (air, ocean, road, parcel Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple regions and time zones Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
