Position Summary
A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee key financial operations, including general accounting, reimbursement analysis, and audit coordination. This role combines the responsibilities of a Controller and Senior Reimbursement Analyst, playing a critical part in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making support.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee monthly and year-end financial close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
+ Review revenue estimates and billing justifications to ensure accurate financial reporting.
+ Coordinate and support audits related to long-term care and other financial areas.
+ Manage bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
+ Collaborate with billing and business office teams to ensure accurate front-end data and reporting.
+ Evaluate and improve departmental processes and system integrity.
+ Prepare and review audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
+ Coordinate payroll uploads and process payroll for designated entities.
+ Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial mappings.
+ Prepare and distribute various financial reports, including revenue and payment summaries.
+ Troubleshoot and manage financial systems including ADP, API, and others.
+ Support year-end processes including 403(b) and 1099 submissions, W-2 validation, and system rollovers.
+ Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital finance, accounting, and reimbursement.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
+ Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Preferred:
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

+ Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Experience coordinating audits and working with external auditors.
+ Familiarity with healthcare finance systems and regulatory reporting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $53000.00/hr.
