Position Title: Logistics Advisor (B2B)

 

Position Objective

The Logistics Advisor supports the delivery of the APF Tie-in Project by ensuring all logistics and supply chain activities meet objectives, constraints, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include planning and readiness of supply chain/logistics activities, route identification, maintenance assessments, transportation coordination, and integration with Santos business needs. Site-based in Papua New Guinea starting 1Q26.

Key Accountabilities Integrate logistics requirements into project scope, plans, cost estimates, and risk profiles. Manage and execute Logistics and Materials Management plans. Lead movement and tracking of free-issued materials for Pipeline, Facilities, and Camps. Support contractor management (pre-qualification, tendering, evaluations, approvals). Align stakeholders with Logistics Strategies and Plans. Manage logistics financials and cost-efficiency. Handle logistics-related risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Explore cross-functional risk management opportunities. Professional Experience 10–15+ years in in-country logistics for major infrastructure projects in remote locations. Recent PNG-specific experience essential. Experience in Detailed Design and Execution phases. Brownfield hydrocarbon and gas pipeline projects experience. Ability to work remote rotational assignments. Technical Competencies Familiarity with PNG community-based contracting groups. Strong commercial acumen and business judgment. Exceptional contractor management and conflict resolution skills. Ability to simplify complex technical challenges. Delivery mindset and team-player approach. Innovative problem-solving in group settings. Leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Understanding of project management processes. Cultural sensitivity in mixed workforce.
