The opportunity: We are currently seeking a motivated individual to support our Logistics team in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the logistics manager to ensure customer expectations are met. Your excellent communication skills will be vital as you engage with internal and external stakeholders. How You Will Impact WestRock

Process daily finished goods call offs for customer deliveries.Arrange deliveries to subcontractors.Order consumables for production requirements by requesting purchase orders (POs).Accurately and timely receipt inbound goods.Collaborate with Planning, Customer Service, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure on-time and complete shipment of finished goods.Create delivery notes for all deliveries.Accurately book goods into the warehouse and resolve related queries.Provide support to the Logistics Manager as needed.Adapt to evolving business needs as tasks may vary.Assist with additional duties during periods of annual leave based on business requirements.

 

Experience and Skills required:

Possess logical and analytical thinking capabilities.Previous experience in supply chain management within consumer goods production industries would be advantageousProficient in Microsoft Office Suite ProgrammesFamiliarity with JDE/SAP or similar management information systems.Friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Experience working with third-party suppliers and customers.Proactive problem-solving skills to resolve queries independently.Good knowledge of stock control.Polite telephone manner.
