Job Description
The Amazon Transportation Services team is expanding rapidly and seeks a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to enhance the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who utilize Amazon Inbound Transportation. As the company continues to innovate within transportation and logistics, it consistently evaluates current network shipper defects and drives improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions and take proactive measures to improve shipper performance metrics.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor, verify, and present data daily.Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.Identify transportation defect root causes.Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers.Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.Lead Daily Business Review Stand-up calls.Essential SkillsTech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems and databases.Strong Excel skills.Experience in account or vendor management, supporting B2B customers.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of logistics, transportation, sales, supply chain, and intermodal.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood relationship-building skills.Strong organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively.Supply chain technical skills.Experience from industries such as party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, or restaurants.Work Environment
Currently a hybrid model with three days in the office, transitioning to five days in the office. The work heavily involves using Outlook for organizational skills and email correspondence. The role includes robust training to enhance Excel proficiency and general computer literacy.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
