Role Outline

To purposefully pick/sort/pack parts/components to be moved via motorized equipment from one process to the next. To identify any defective part/component and remove for proper quality inspection to determine if in.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to the company’s rules and regulations as documented in company’s disciplinary policyEnsure that housekeeping is maintainedEnsure safe work practice as defined during induction and health and safety related training and awareness campaignsEnsure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in the areaReport any defects, queries and unresolved issues to Team Leader or Supervisor for resolutionEnsure that all checklists are filled in correctly and on time in line with Standard Operating ProceduresPerform e-kanban counter countsPerform master data checksPerform any other duties as and when it arises

Qualifications & Experience

Matric (English and Mathematics/Math Literacy)2-3 years previous working experienceGood written and verbal communication and understanding of basic mathematical principlesActively seeks feedback to improve performanceTakes personal responsibility for career and developmentAbility to decide and initiate action.Ability to work with people.Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations.Ability to cope with under pressure
