Overview:
We are seeking a field-savvy Logistics Coordinator to support upcoming maintenance outages and turnarounds (TARs) at a refinery or chemical plant. This individual must have strong mechanical knowledge, field coordination experience, and the ability to adapt and problem-solve in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:Coordinate field logistics during TARs and maintenance outages
Adapt to constraints and challenges in real time (e.g., equipment delays, crane issues) and know who to engage to resolve them
Serve as a point of contact between multiple teams and departments within the refinery
Ensure clear and proactive communication across stakeholders
Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams) for planning, tracking, and reporting
Support the setup and use of digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Digital Path) on mobile devices for field productivity
Facilitate and lead meetings as needed
Requirements:5–10 years of relevant logistics or field coordination experience
Experience in refinery or chemical plant environments is required
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of plant equipment and operations
Proven experience supporting TARs or maintenance outages
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills a plus
Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not required
Must be resourceful, tech-savvy, and comfortable with mobile and digital tools
