Job Title: Locum Family Solicitor
Contract Length: 3 Month Temporary Contract (with potential to extend)
Location: Stafford
Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Working pattern: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities of a Locum Family Solicitor: Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and private children matters. Advising high-net-worth clients on sensitive and complex family law issues with discretion and professionalism. Drafting key legal documents including consent orders, financial remedy applications, parenting agreements, and statements. Representing clients in court hearings and during negotiations or mediation where necessary. Liaising with Counsel, experts, and third parties to progress cases effectively and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards at all times. Providing support to other fee earners in the family law team where required. Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years PQE, with a strong background in family law. Proven track record in handling complex divorce and financial remedy cases. Experience working with high-profile or high-net-worth clients. Ability to manage a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision. Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client-care skills.
