Job Requirements
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in subsystem / component Design & Development of Locomotive / automobile / heavy industriesWill be owning key CTQ like delivery, schedules, quality for subsystem within engineering teamsEnsure that all basic project management activities are performed on-time and with primary focus on tracker updatesTo focus on value additions and cost savings beyond the expected tasks by customerThorough knowledge of engineering fundamentalsShould be very good at structural calculations, bolted joint, weld joint calculationsAble to analyze shop issues and provide solutionsShould have worked on Concept generation using idea generation methods.Have good knowledge on new component introduction process, FMEA and validation process of componentsStrong knowledge in Engineering standards followed [ANSI,ISO,ASTM]Good oral / written communication skill, English proficiency, MS office proficiencyGD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFA/DFM/DFSShould have worked with cross-functional team of Designers, Engineers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Field service and external consulting engineering teams.Experience in UG NX  with TcE knowledgePresent in meetings which will be scheduled with functional managers / CFT or toll gate reviewsMinimum understanding on FEA in terms of coordination and analyzing the reports shared by FEA team
