Locksmith

The Locksmith will be responsible for providing locksmith services, as well as customer service and product sales to walk-in customers.

Job Responsibilities:

•\tCreate, use, and maintain key systems, including but not limited to grand master key systems, master key systems, and high security.

•\tTroubleshoot cores and locksets.

•\tMaintain appropriate files, records and follow manufacturer security protocols.

•\tKey duplication and key cutting by key codes and key machines.

•\tLock repairs, troubleshooting, and installation.

•\tWork with all appropriate personnel in all departments to ensure material is ready for delivery, and / or installed correctly and in a timely manner.

•\tAssist customers who call or come into the front counter.

•\tTrouble shoot commercial door hardware problems in the field.

•\tAssist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

•\tLocksmith/pinning experience

•\tWorking knowledge of Door Hardware and Locks

•\tStrong customer relation skills

•\tProficient computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite

•\tExperience with access control is beneficial, but not required

Physical Demands:

•\tSit for long periods

•\tAbility to kneel, crouch and stoop.

•\tRepetitive use of hands and fingers to grasp, twist and pull

•\tLong periods of computer usage / monitor viewing

•\tAbility to listen and talk to customers/ suppliers

•\tAbility to reach above your head and shoulders

•\tAbility to climb ladders

•\tRegularly lift or move up to 40 pounds

•\tWithstand external weather conditions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
