Location: New London, CT
Wage Range: $75,000 – $80,000/year (commensurate with experience)

Transportation Manager Responsibilities:
Manage operational expenses and explain budget variances
Oversee injury and collision claims
Ensure safety practices and applicable regulations are followed by all employees
Maintain facilities and buses to First Student safety and environmental standards
Set accurate schedules for routes and minimize drive times/mileage while meeting contractual and regulatory requirements
Provide accurate and timely operational and financial reporting as requested by AGM and/or finance
Ensure purchases follow company processes and policies
Drive employee engagement and recognition
Transportation Manager Experience and Skills Required:
4-year degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years management experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Business background in financial, strategic, and/or organizational analysis
