To learn more please visit http://www.convatecgroup.com Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes: •Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product •Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products •Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards •Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods Requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities may include: • Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations. • Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees. • Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex. **Position Overview:** The Training Lead is responsible for the end-to-end planning, development, delivery, and success of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) training programs across all levels of the organization. This role is critical in ensuring that plant operators, supervisors, engineers, quality teams, and support staff are well-equipped to use the MES effectively. The Training Lead will work closely with MES project managers, functional leads, IT teams, and vendors to tailor training materials and ensure knowledge transfer aligns with business processes and system capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design a comprehensive MES training plan tailored for different user groups (operators, supervisors, engineers, etc.). + Develop or coordinate the creation of user manuals, SOPs, training videos, simulations, and quick reference guides. + Develop Training material to be uploaded in ComplianceWire and/or local regulatory training system. + Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments and roles. + Deliver hands-on training sessions, classroom workshops, and virtual sessions. + Organize and manage “Train-the-Trainer” programs where appropriate. + Liaise with MES implementation teams and OEMs to ensure training content reflects real-world system behavior and machine integration. + Schedule and execute pilot training programs and gather user feedback for improvement. + Track and report training effectiveness through assessments, KPIs, and on-floor performance checks. + Provide post-go-live support and refresher training sessions. + Continuously update training materials as the MES evolves or system updates are rolled out. **Skills & Experience:** + Strong understanding of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens OpCenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, etc.) + Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all organizational levels. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, production scheduling, and traceability concepts. + Strong documentation skills – ability to create user-friendly training materials. + Experience in using e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Moodle, SAP Enable Now) is a plus. + Ability to adapt to different learning styles and manage cross-cultural training scenarios. + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills. + Ability to analyze feedback and improve training strategies dynamically. **Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent Convatec** A formal recruitment process is required for all our opportunities prior to any offer of employment.
