Allied Universal® is hiring a Lobby Supervisor. The Lobby Supervisor is responsible for the management/supervision of Lobby Receptionist personnel, providing security access control measures via lobbies, badging and special events for multiple sites for a high-profile customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to the client. Act as a liaison between customer, Account Manager, and lobby receptionists; supervise lobby staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment rangeSupervise day-do-day operations at the site for Lobbies, Badge & ID, Visitor Centers, and Large EventsEnforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memosAssist the Account Manager in identifying, meeting, and exceeding the needs of the customerMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtimeCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training (OJT), client specific training, and annual refresher training for lobby personnelManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklistsCommunicate staffing needs to the Account Manager or to recruiters via Requisition Form, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidatesAssure that lobby personnel receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)Assist with the communication of policies, company announcements and job openingsPerform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)Respond to client requestsMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post OrdersProvide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their dutiesDisciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnelMake productivity and cost reduction recommendations to managementMake recommendations for physical security surveys, job safety analysis and post ordersMake recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel assignedQUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMust possess, or be able to obtain, a SECRET clearance with the Department of DefenseMinimum one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement or military serviceMust possess one or more of the following:Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National GuardService in Auxiliary Police or Police CadetsMinimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industryBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitorsDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicEffective oral and written communication skillsProblem solving skillsActive listening skillsAssess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyCompile, sort, and interpret dataResearch, investigate, compile informationMediate conflict with tact, diplomacyWrite informatively, clearly, and accuratelyTeamworkAttention to detailPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of one or more of the following:Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat ZoneGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studiesA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branchAssociate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military serviceBENEFITS:
