Job Description
The Loan Support Representative II provides administrative and operational support throughout the loan lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with Loan Officers, Branch staff, and centralized operations to support consumer and commercial lending activity from origination through closing and post‑funding.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and maintain loan documentation for new loans, renewals, and modifications.Input and update loan data within the core banking and loan origination systems.Coordinate with Loan Officers to obtain required documentation from clients.Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.Assist with loan closings, including document preparation and post-closing file review.Track loan status and follow up on outstanding items to meet funding and closing timelines.Respond to internal and external inquiries related to loan documentation and processing.Support audits and examinations by providing requested loan documentation.Maintain organized and up-to-date loan files, both electronic and physical.Provide general administrative support to the lending and operations teams as needed.Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.1–2 years of experience in banking, loan operations, or financial services.Basic understanding of loan products and lending processes.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Customer-service mindset with a professional and collaborative approach.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting consumer or commercial lending teams.Familiarity with core banking or loan origination systems.Knowledge of banking regulations and documentation requirements.Prior experience working in a community bank environment.3-5 years in processing commercial loans end-to-end.Experience with LaserPro for document preparation.Familiarity with nCino or similar cloud-based loan platforms.Exposure to high-volume administrative execution, including data entry, scanning, and filing.Compliance-minded with strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.Work Environment
This is an on-site role based in a branch or operations office, with regular interaction with Loan Officers, Branch staff, and Operations teams. The position operates during standard business hours, with occasional flexibility based on loan volume. The team is smaller, consisting of seven members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
