Our client, one of the big banks in Canada, is looking to hire several banking officers s to help support their team located in the downtown Calgary area. Please note - this role is 100% in office in the downtown Calgary area - and operations on a Monday to Friday morning shift only. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: + Monitor and manage collateral posted against loans. + Ensure collateral meets eligibility criteria and is valued correctly. + Perform daily margin calls and respond to counterparties. + Calculate initial and variation margins based on market movements. + Reconcile margin requirements with counterparties and internal systems. + Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly margin reports. + Maintain accurate records of margin calls, responses, and settlements. + Liaise with front office, risk, legal, and operations teams. + Communicate with counterparties regarding margin disputes or settlements.
