THE JOB
The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for leading a venue-based premium sales team focused on generating ticket revenue through season tickets, group sales, hospitality events, and other revenue streams. This role also oversees the renewal of select full season and series packages for the home venue. The position reports directly to the Vice President of National Sales.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Lead a regional sales team, including a Director of New Business Development, Directors of Premium Sales, and Sales Coordinators, to drive revenue growth and optimize inventory utilization.Recruit, train, manage, and evaluate sales staff performance.Develop and implement new sales strategies and premium seating products across regional venues.Provide coaching and leadership to ensure a high-performance sales culture focused on exceeding revenue goals and delivering exceptional client service.Manage a personal book of business for season and series renewals at the home venue.Forecast sales performance and manage associated program budgets and variable expenses.Ensure proper use and compliance with sales tools and systems (Archtics, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud), including dashboard and pipeline management.Collaborate with venue General Managers and cross-functional teams to align on sales strategy and ensure seamless program execution.Travel to venues for team development, client meetings, onboarding, market visits, event execution, and show day operations.Promote strong collaboration between sales, marketing, box office, and venue operations teams.Ensure adherence to corporate sales protocols, best practices, and operational guidelines.Serve as approver for inventory management, variable expenses, and local marketing initiatives.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams across varying levels of experience.Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Self-driven, results-oriented, and highly organized.Collaborative and adaptable leadership style.Bachelor’s degree required.Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within entertainment, sports, media, or ticketing.Proficiency with Salesforce, Archtics, Marketing Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.BENEFITS & PERKS

The expected compensation for this position is:
$95,000.00 USD - $120,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
