WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
I. Team Member Recruitment, Training, Development and Management Responsibilities:
Recruitment and TrainingDevelopment of Hourly Team Members and Foundation ManagersDiscipline/TerminationsEnsuring compliance with Workplace StandardsFloor Management FunctionsWeekly Operations call and Inventory ManagementKeep track of reporting, including weekly recap sheets, nightly operations reports, and dining tracking sheets
II. Ensuring Optimal Guest Experience
Ability to give proper recognition to Foundation Members, Live Nation Executives, and VIP’s to instill appreciation for their membership and patronageServe as a resource of information for all Members regarding their experience within both the Foundation Room and House of BluesEnsures that all special events are executed properly, to the guests' satisfactionMust possess a solid understanding of the nightlife industry, promotion, and industry trendsGuest Relations & Membership FulfillmentMaintain all HOB StandardsIII. Enhance Revenue / Controlling Costs
Ensure that Food & Beverage COGS, controllable, and labor are within budgetary guidelinesParticipates in developing long-term and short-term plans for revenue growth and cost control measuresEnsures that the P&L of the unit meets or exceeds budgetary expectationsGenerate/Enhance RevenueOversee Membership Renewal ProcessCreate and execute nightly programming that fosters an increase in guest count and incremental salesExecute on initiatives developed by VIP Services or the sales teamIV. Vibe, Atmosphere and Maintenance within the venue
Creates and maintains an environment of high energy vibe that fits within Foundation Room standardsEnsures atmosphere of the room adheres to standards, including but not limited to: lighting, sound level, music selection, furniture placement, and décor.Manages physical plant/facility to ensure proper repair and maintenanceMaintains Cleanliness standards at its highestHas the ability to create programming events both in-house and with outside promoter partnerships to enhance vibe, increase member use of the room and increasing revenue.V. Required:
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experiencePrevious experience with managing purchasing, receiving, & inventoriesPrevious P&L responsibility and knowledge of accounting techniques(State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentPreferred:
3-5 years experience in up-scale restaurant and/or in a live music club or nightlife industryAbility to communicate in SpanishPoint of Sales experienceSome college coursework completedPhysical Demands/Working Environment:
