Job Description Insight Global is searching for an LLM Engineer for one of our large Consulting clients. This role will sit remotely in India working EST hours. This individual will join an existing development team to enhance and expand a complex, dynamic application. The role requires strong communication skills and technical expertise across the stack. You will collaborate with global teams spanning multiple time zones and actively contribute to ongoing feature development. Day-to-Day Responsibilities -Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to solve complex problems. -Execute planning and hands-on technical work independently. -Work cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions across teams. -Take full ownership of features and projects, delivering high-quality solutions. -Apply systems-level thinking, integrating data science and engineering principles. -Use a data-driven approach to solve technical challenges and make informed decisions. -Continuously develop technical expertise and stay current with emerging technologies. Compensation: $15.00/hr to $20.00/hr. Skills and Requirements Years of Experience: -2+ years of experience developing and experimenting with LLMs -8+ years of experience developing APIs with Python Background: -Strong experience with Python, particularly building REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask. -Expertise in microservices architecture and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes). -Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, and natural language processing. -Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex). -Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP). -Understanding of multi-agent systems and their applications. -Experience with RAG concepts and fundamentals (vector databases, semantic search). -Expertise in implementing RAG systems combining knowledge bases with generative AI models. -Experience writing prompts for various use cases. -Proven experience releasing generative AI solutions to production at scale (beyond POCs). -Proficiency with server-side events, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems. -Strong debugging and optimization skills for backend systems. -Solid understanding of backend security best practices, including authentication and data protection. -US/Canada based (preferably Eastern Time Zone). Experience: -2+ years developing and experimenting with LLMs. -8+ years developing APIs with Python. -Experience with LLM guardrails -Experience with LLM monitoring and observability -Experience developing AI/ML technologies within large and business critical applications
