An exciting nanny job has come up to join a lovely family who are currently working with our maternity team and are then looking for a nanny to join them after. The family split their time between the Cotswolds and France, spending about 6 to 7 months in St Tropez/Méribel, 3 months in the Cotswolds and travelling to other destinations throughout the year.
The family is looking for a confident and experienced nanny to become part of their home, providing their little one with love, support and a nurturing environment. The duties will be a mix of sole a shared charge as mum will be around during the day. The successful candidate will use their experience to bring fresh ideas that support the little girl’s learning and development, while working in close collaboration with the parents.
Job specification:
Undertaking daily nanny duties and following her daily routine/schedule Planning/preparing learning and development activities at home to support the different milestones Communicating with the parents and working in collaboration Attending groups, activities and playdates Going for walks and spending time outside Preparing healthy meals/snacks and supporting with weaning Undertaking all nursery duties and packing/unpacking when travelling Travelling with the family between their different homes as well as other travel The role requires flexibility to occasionally provide overnight care and proxy parenting when the parents are travelling
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom provided in each home
Candidate specification:
Experience working with babies is required and able to support the different milestones Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively with the parents Strong knowledge of developmental milestones A driver is required Happy to work in a home with dogs (no duties required) An EU passport is required Someone who is passionate, engaging and loves working with children
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
