Job Summary:   This lovely young relaxed, easy-going family with their two boys is looking to add another nanny when the maternity nanny leaves in August. There is another nanny who Eden placed last year, and you will be working alongside her and the parents. The family are currently in France and will be moving to Rome in the New year with travel in between, most likely New York after France. The role is a mix of sole and shared care. The ideal nanny will have an abundance of energy (two boys) and will love working in a busy home, a team person who has an educational approach to childcare. The family is looking for someone discreet who can stay with them for the long-term, someone who has a muck in approach – this is very much a team environment, they employ other staff including a chef and housekeeper. The property in France is in the countryside The house is nestled in the heart of a forest in beautiful Burgundy, just a 10-minute drive from the charming town of Autun. While no driving is required as part of the role, a car will be available for the nanny to explore the region during her time off. In the new Year the family will relocate to Rome

 

Job specification:

Shared care of both children – The nanny will be working alongside mum and dad and the other nanny in a shared-care environment, so teamwork and flexibility are essential. Travelling with the family Organizing play dates, planning activities and fun things to do with a focus on education, especially for the older one. Both children are in good routines and would want the nanny to follow All normal nursery duties, cooking for the children, keeping play areas, rooms tidy and organized and responsible for the children’s laundry, sterilizing bottles Packing/unpacking for travel

 

 

 

 

Candidate specification:

It is essential you have experience working with multiple children and are confident in all the developmental milestones with babies and toddlers The family are looking for a nanny who is warm, caring and enjoys working with this age group. A calm and discreet personality who is professional and flexible Fluent English skills are required Childcare qualifications are essential, the family are looking for a nanny who has a focus on education, engages and who can connect meaningfully with the children. Although shared care, you must be comfortable taking care of both children at times Someone who is energetic, the homes have many stairs, and has a love for the outdoors This family are lovely to work for they employ several staff, and everyone gets one and pitches in where needed, the family are looking for a nanny who can get on with other staff and has a muck in approach EU passport is a must to work in Europe

Salary:  £50,000 gross plus

Accommodation:  own bedroom and bathroom
