Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Live-Out Housekeeper to join their recently renovated, modern-meets-Cotswolds family home set on 4 acres of private land, including an apple orchard, woodland and vegetable garden. The household includes two adults, three friendly King Charles Spaniels, and five rescued equines, making this a varied and rewarding position for someone who is both practical and pet friendly.
This is a role for someone who genuinely “gets things done” — someone discreet, self-motivated, and adaptable, who takes pride in maintaining high standards and can run the household smoothly with minimal supervision.
Job specification:
Full cleaning and daily upkeep of the home to a high standard Laundry and ironing (including occasional trips to dry cleaners for delicate items) Changing bed linen and towels regularly Simple family cooking on occasion – wholesome, traditional meals (no formal entertaining) Running household errands as needed Dog walking and pet care, especially when the family are travelling Liaising with local services or trades when required
Candidate specification:
Prior experience in a similar private household role Confident driver (manual licence preferred) – vehicle provided Pet friendly and happy to assist with animals Strong eye for detail and pride in a clean, well-run home Proactive, discreet, and highly organized Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently
Accommodation: 1 bedroom annex – bathroom, kitchen – separate from the home
