Job Summary:
We are searching for an experienced housekeeper to work at a beautiful 8-bedroom home situated on 9 acres of land in Beaconsfield supporting two principals. This is their permanent residence which they share with their toy poodle. They regularly enjoy hosting their grown-up children and friends.
The core hours for this role would be Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. However, flexibility would be required to work outside of these hours or on weekends if the principals are entertaining, with time given back in lieu. You would be joining a team that consists of a live-in cook/housekeeper, driver, and gardener who visits once/twice a week.
Job specification:
• Every day and deep cleaning duties
• Laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe management and packing suitcases
• Grocery shopping and stock management
• Dog care to include walking, vet and groomer trips, and dog sitting when the principles are away
• Silver polishing and looking after other valuable items
• Managing household security when the house is vacant
• Occasionally assist the cook
• Be on hand to help with entertaining
Candidate specification:
• The ideal candidate will be an experienced with ideally 10 years working in the industry
• You need to enjoy working as part of a team and be able to work harmoniously with the other staff employed
• You need to be confident to take the initiative and manage your own workday
• A flexible attitude to working occasional evenings or weekends is essential, most of the entertaining happens in the spring and summer. As mentioned, you will get the time back in lieu the following week.

You will be sharing a 2-bedroom cottage with the live-in cook/housekeeper.
