Job Summary:

An enthusiastic and committed Live-in Housekeeper/Cook is sought after to oversee the smooth running of a family home in Wiltshire. The family have three children at boarding at school. family also have three dogs, including two Labradors and one Dachshund.

There is a houseman employed who assists with the housekeeping duties, and between you there will be a rota where you work alternating weekends. The principal is open to if you want to work five days per week and have your days off midweek or on the weekends depending on the rota or work a ten-day stint and have four days off in a row, giving you the chance to stay away if you wish.

Duties

Work alongside the houseman to complete all cleaning and laundry duties Accept deliveries Assist when the family entertains The principal loves cooking but it would be helpful if you could cook or prep occasional meals as well batch cook meals for the freezer When the family entertain be confident to cook family style meals such as a chicken roast or full English breakfast

Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate will be looking to make a long term commitment. The family enjoy building up a good relationship with their staff and work hard to ensure that their home is a nice place to work You need to be good team player, working well with the other staff members, and with the family The family are looking for a Housekeeper who has a can-do approach and are willing to put their hand to anything Need to be happy assisting with family cooking Preferably a confident driver

DBS check required at offer stage
