Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for an insurance defense law firm in Houston. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation matters, including trial preparation and case management. This opportunity is direct hire, full time, and allows for one day of remote work.

Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and correspondenceSummarize depositions, medical records, and other legal documentsConduct legal and factual research using various tools and databasesOrganize and maintain case files, research materials, and litigation databasesAssist with trial preparation and provide support during trial proceedingsReview legal forms and documents for accuracy and complianceCoordinate with attorneys, clients, and external parties in a professional mannerUtilize e-discovery tools to manage and analyze electronically stored information

QualificationsBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate requiredMinimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in:Premises liabilityProducts liabilityConstruction litigationCommercial litigationStrong knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and court rulesProficiency in legal research and document analysisExcellent organizational, communication, and writing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesExperience with trial preparation and in-trial support is essentialFamiliarity with e-discovery platforms is preferred
