A Laboratory Instrumentation Services (LIS) Coordinator Supervisor position requires coordinating, developing, and maintaining the scope and vendor performance of LIS preventive and corrective maintenance, while also supervising a team of seven staff members. The role involves implementing policies and procedures, maintaining system updates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. Additionally, the supervisor will make day-to-day decisions, have some authority for personnel actions, and possess thorough knowledge of department processes. The LIS Coordinator Supervisor will be responsible for valuing, inspiring and leading a team of talented coordinators to exceed client and company goals. Through effective and consistent leadership, relationship building, development, and coaching. **What You’ll Do:** + Leads, plan, direct, and schedule day-to-day and long-range team activities of a team of LIS coordinators. + Lead a team overseeing lab vendors, instrument qualification, CMMS data management, and other lab coordination responsibilities. + Implement client scope of services and ensure all programs and procedures are being properly followed. + Leads contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration. + Verify compliance with performance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements, and company policies, standards, and procedures. + Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. + Showcase expertise in own job field and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. + Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies. + Effectively convey challenging and intricate concepts with the power to persuade. + Managers and maintain laboratory third party vendors, as well as ensure the integrity and accuracy of LIS maintenance data. + Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function + Ensure your team is meeting all client expectations in all areas of performance, quality, and compliance. + Proactively implements service modifications in response to customer and business needs. + Conducts performance reviews; develops growth plans; interprets, implements, and supports employee-related policies, procedures, and programs. and disciplinary actions. + Provide training to staff on LIS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Process performance metrics. This includes tracking, evaluating, and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Experienced organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
