Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing complex/strategic product(s) and developing strategies across functional groups and/or within a product group. Key responsibilities include managing the full marketing cycle and financial responsibilities for specific product areas and driving innovative idea generation for the products under management. Job expectations may include leading a team to ensure that the product management efforts are integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.

Responsibilities:

Manages corporate and commercial deposits across ~40 different currencies.Oversees strategy for deposit strategy, deposit pricing, product development and product management including sweeps, zero balance accounts, physical cash concentration and multi-currency notional pooling.Supports large/complex liquidity deals, drives liquidity thought leadership, analyzes the impact of monetary policy on wholesale banking and leads the GPS response to regulatory changes/inquiries.Develops strategies to optimize net interest income (NII) while achieving deposit growth/rate paid targets and supporting the liquidity needs of clients.Produces deposit portfolio analytics and competitive intelligence for senior leaders at the Bank, in addition to managing the processes and applications related to client exception rates.Optimizes pricing of the portfolio and outperform key competitors. GPS's ability to effectively manage interest expense while growing market share is critical to the Company's bottom line.Leading analysis of the GPS deposit portfolio, developing pricing tactics and related execution plans, and working directly with Sales and Management to ensure that strategic and financial objectives are achieved. Partners with Finance and Corporate Treasury in areas such as forecasting, stress testing, and regulatory advocacy.Maintains day-to-day working relationships with key partners, such as Operations, Compliance, and Risk, in addition to coordinating strategy and tactics globally with regional Liquidity colleagues in APAC, EMEA, and LatAm.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with Global Payment Solutions products and businessDemonstrated numeration and analytical  ability– finance or treasury background may provide an advantageAbility to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationshipsDemonstrated ability to lead, influence and persuade othersAbility to present to and interact with senior managementAbility to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to connect monetary and fiscal policy to client/business impactFamiliarity with Basel III regulationProficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to support analytical and presentation needs

Desired Qualifications:

Background in deposit product, deposit pricing, or treasury/finance supporting a deposit taking businessFamiliarity with modern analytics and visualization tools such as Alteryx and TableauKnowledge of GPS Liquidity productsAbility to build data-driven models (either using Excel or other tools)Experience with leading and/or mentoring junior talentUnderstanding of Enterprise Single Process Inventory (SPI framework)Self-starter who is motivated to identify value-add projects and drive them to completionStrategic thinker, intellectually curious, thought leader
