Linux Systems Administrator

The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a Linux System Administrator to provide specialized expertise in support of the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) Office of Performance Analysis, Data Integration and Modeling Group. You will use your expertise in Linux System Administration and Kubernetes System Administration to support the development of software applications related to the operation and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS).  This support will also include innovative methodologies, processes, architectures, and technologies that support the transformation of FAA raw data into meaningful, useful, and actionable information to support business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

You will assist AJR-G in developing software applications and the development of cloud solutions for existing databases. You will also support the development of a shared platform by which a program/system can be modularly integrated.  Provide technical and subject matter expertise, and program management support for completion of lifecycle system design and analysis.  Other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Requires a BS degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 years of prior relevant experience or if no degree, additional related work experience can be substituted. Linux system administrationKubernetes system administration

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
