We are looking for an experienced Linux & Cloud Administrator to support our team by providing L2/L3 expert support for all Linux OS customer issues. As a Linux & Cloud Administrator, you will troubleshoot complex Linux OS/ infrastructure issues across all platforms. You will contribute to standardizing and simplifying server operations using software tools and automation.

 

What you'll do

Accountable for ensuring round-the-clock availability of SAP systems operating within SAP ECS. Serving as L2/L3 support for critical production issues. Respond, troubleshoot and resolve alerts & incidents in the Linux OS or infra layer – VMWare/ Azure/ AWS/ GCP/ BareMetal. Manage Pacemaker based HA clusters across various platforms. Fine tune cluster configurations to optimize failover performance, resource availability and System resilience. Administer Linux Servers for performance, Patching and Troubleshooting. Participate in Incident Management, Execute Service Requests, resolve incoming Alerts. Contribute to Backup/Recovery, DR and High Availability strategies for Critical workloads. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration, documentation and knowledge sharing. Work in Shifts covering 24/7 based on shift schedule. Apply ITIL incident management processes to ensure timely resolution.

 

What you bring:

4+ years of relevant professional experience Advanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems (Redhat or SUSE ) 1-2 years’ experience in Linux HA clusters, preferably Pacemaker, with relevant trainings/ certifications Practical experience with OS operation, upgrades, and security patching Demonstrate advanced expertise in Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP and expert in any one of them. Good understanding of IT security, OS hardening Ability to create good documentation for junior colleagues to implement technical plans as per customer requirements. Fluency in English language and the ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams is a key requirement. Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way. Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking Very good communication and networking skills Strong customer service focus
