Job Title: Linen Worker

Job Description

The Linen Worker will be responsible for distributing linens throughout the hospital facility. They will manage and organize linens on different floors, ensuring that all clean linens are placed in their designated spots. The role involves handling bins that weigh approximately 50lbs and navigating them through the hospital, primarily interacting with nursing staff.

Essential Skills

Experience in janitorial, general labor, or housekeeping roles.Material handling skills.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving heavy objects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong soft skills such as reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.Experience as a warehouse associate or in cleaning roles is a plus.

Work Environment

The Linen Worker will be based onsite at the hospital. There is one opening at the Main Campus with shifts from 11am-7:30pm Monday to Friday, and every third weekend from 6am-2:30pm. Employees are provided with five blue scrub uniforms and can wear sneakers. Orientation will be completed prior to starting at the hospital.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
