Position Summary
The Aerial Lineman is responsible for performing skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and operation of overhead and underground telecommunications infrastructure. This role involves working in outdoor environments, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring the integrity and safety of CATV lines including Strand, Fiber, and Coax.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, including pulling and backing trailersNavigate and drive in heavy traffic conditionsLoad, unload, and transport materials and equipment between job sites and the warehouseLift and move items up to 60 pounds regularlyPerform physical tasks involving bending at the waist and kneesMaintain accurate inventory records and assist with warehouse organizationOperate a forklift (preferred but not required)Use basic computer systems for inventory tracking and communicationFollow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision What You'll Bring Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Preferred Proven ability to pull and back trailers safely and efficientlyComfortable driving in high-traffic areasAbility to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding tasksAvailable for full-time work with flexibility for occasional overtimeStrong attention to detail and ability to follow directionsSelf-motivated and dependableBasic computer knowledge (inventory systems, email, etc.)Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in aerial lineman or telecommunications.High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.Strong knowledge of line construction tools, materials, and safety regulations.Proficient in coax and fiber installation, pole transfers, and new builds.Physical Requirements
Ability to carry 75–80 lbs., including extension ladders.Comfortable working at heights of 20+ feet.Capable of bending, climbing, crawling, and lifting throughout the work shift.Willingness to work nights, weekends, and in various weather conditions. What You'll GetBenefits
