Job Title: System Level Test Operator

Job Description

Perform automated system level testing on network switching equipment to ensure product functionality. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting any failures during tests, as well as mechanical and electrical assembly of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies into product cases. The role requires attention to detail in inspection, final assembly, and packaging of products, using fixtures and power/hand tools according to specifications.

Responsibilities

Conduct automated system level testing (Pre-Test, Burn-In and Final Test) on network switching equipment.Monitor any failures during tests and report them to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.Report any test software or equipment issues or improvements to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.Assemble Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) mechanically and electrically into product cases.Inspect PCBA and metal work according to inspection procedures.Perform final assembly and packaging of products.Use fixtures and power/hand tools according to product specifications.Follow detailed process instructions and work towards meeting daily goals.Prepare and kit picklists for the lines and assist peers with water spider and de-trashing activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment by complying with procedures.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.Work at different workstations or areas on a rotational basis to reduce fatigue.Share ideas freely to contribute to team daily success and overall growth.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, general labor, and general production.Familiarity with test equipment and hand tools.Manufacturing experience, including electrical and line assembly.Knowledge of ISA, 5's, ESD, and lean manufacturing.Experience in packaging, assembly line operations, packing, labeling, production line, and picking.
