Line Lead, Flint Michigan

 

 

The Opportunity:

The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing a production line within the Flint Michigan Warehouse and ensuring maximum productivity and quality.  

 

How you will impact Packaging Solutions, Smurfit Westrock: 

Partner with Team Leads to ensure staff members are assigned tasks as outlined in the work order and assist with training.Work side by side with crew to prepare product for customers that include:  Pack product of varying typeUnpack/Repackage product of varying typeBuild product bundles of suppliesBuild mailing packetsBox printingBox labelingReceive new and returned productLog and track production documentation Ensure safety and quality standards at all times.Other duties as assigned. 

 

What you need to succeed:

High school diploma or equivalentOne or more year(s) experience leading a crew in a production environment: corrugated manufacturing plant environment preferredGeneral fluency in English required, verbal and writtenBasic computer literacy.
