**Job Title: Line Cook – Corporate Dining. $23.50-$31/hr. Position Starts at $23.50/hr, has potential to go to $31/hr after 6 months.** **Position Summary** The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced, large-scale corporate kitchen environment. This role supports daily food service operations, ensuring consistency, safety, and satisfaction for employees and guests. **Key Responsibilities** + Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines. + Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service begins. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout the shift. + Ensure food is prepared and served in compliance with health and safety regulations. + Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet production timelines and service standards. + Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory to maintain freshness and reduce waste. + Monitor food quality and presentation to meet corporate dining expectations. + Support catering and special event food preparation as needed. + Follow all company policies and procedures related to food handling and kitchen operations. **Qualifications** + Proven experience as a line cook in a high-volume or institutional setting (corporate, hotel, university, etc.). + Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices. + Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Culinary training or certification preferred. **APPLY NOW!** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
