We’re seeking candidates who are team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn, with 1–2 years of cooking experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment. This position supports the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing and delivering quality food across all dining outlets on property while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Candidates must be flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
What You’ll Do:
Take full responsibility for the quality and consistency of food served Prepare ingredients and dishes following standard recipes Assist with inventory checks and organization of kitchen supplies Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all food prep and storage areas Properly use, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment Help with receiving and storing deliveries Comply fully with all Department of Health food safety standards Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed
What You Bring:
1–2 years of hands-on cooking experience High School Diploma or equivalent Solid understanding of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to take direction and continuously improve Dependable with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
Stand, walk, bend, and move for 6–8 hours at a time Lift and carry up to 30 lbs Use of hands and arms for food prep and equipment operation Vision requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception Comfortable working in a moderate to loud kitchen environment Must be able to work extended hours during peak seasons and holidays
Compensation:
$22–$28/hour (commensurate with experience)
