The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are looking for an Line Assembly Coordinator.  This position is based in Roebuck, SC. 

Shift Hours:  6:00am-3pm, with possible overtime required

Hourly Rate:  $26.75

You’ll make an impact by:

Responsibilities

Reviewing the Tracker for set duct by date and move carts with set duct to both Line A and Line B prior to start of the shiftUpdating Tracker throughout the day which job is running on the lines for transparency.Working in conjunction with the Setup Coordinator to ensure the correct dates are being ran daily.Submitting the appropriate remakes and disposing scrap material for non-conforming material.Assisting the Group Lead with the daily Line Setup and 5s duties.Reviewing the Tracker throughout the day and working in conjunction with the Shipping Department to ensure confirmations are complete.Identifying and communicating what is needed to finish incomplete skids of ducts to close out line items.Communicating with the Stack Department for stacks needed dailyCommunicating with Group Lead bottlenecks that hinder the output of production (ex: moving associates to cover in absences of employees, missing material, or non-conforming materials)Cross training in the Bar Kitting Area, Setup Coordinator, and any other areas to support the business, as well as cross training peers

Basic Qualifications

Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office Tools and SAPMust be able to work required overtime when neededBasic Computer Skills, and the use of basic mechanical/measuring toolsReach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
