Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a LIMS Sample Management Specialist within an Analytical Operations team. This role is pivotal in supporting lab modernization through software applications and lab work processes. You will play a key role in the development and validation of analytical methods for the registration of new and existing active ingredients and agricultural products. Brand new LIMS system into their workflow and because of that they are creating a team to handle the sample management within that system.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage Master Data in LabVantage (LV) LIMS.Conduct testing of new functionality, enhancements, and version releases in LV LIMS.Provide general system and user support.Assist in triaging, prioritizing, and escalating service tickets.Provide update communications on service tickets.Collect feedback on enhancements and requirements.Assist with stakeholder roll-out and support via the Test Request Portal.Pull and summarize metrics.Monitor and process requests for analytical studies.Utilize software tools to manage the receipt, labeling, distribution, and disposal of test materials, consumables, and supplies.Manage and dispense consumables inventory including analytical supplies, standards, and solvents.Support lab modernization through data entry.Provide or coordinate mobile phase, diluent, and internal standard preparation to support analytical studies.QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.1+ years of laboratory or sample management experience (2+ preferred).Strong attention to detail and proficiency with computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Suite, LIMS, SAP).Ability to work effectively in a team environment and deliver against challenging projects and timelines.Capability to prioritize tasks to meet goals and ensure product quality.Experience with LabVantage, LIMS, and SAP is highly advantageous.Familiarity with quality management systems and quality documentation.Experience in biology, chemistry, sample preparation, and coordination.Work Environment

The candidate will work a 1st shift from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekend work. Paid holidays and PTO. The work environment is collaborative and focused on delivering high-quality results while supporting lab modernization efforts.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
