The event, selects exceptional new international show talent and refines the gastronomic offering to welcome our guests back from the beginning of December. Our guests can prepare to once again be transported to a world of opulence, indulgence and breathtaking entertainment.
To support the Billionaire Dinner Show team, we are looking for you as a Light Operator & Lighting Designer on a seasonal basis for the 2025/2026 winter season.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lighting Operator & Designer, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and emotionally
engaging lighting designs that enhance the theatrical and entertainment elements of our dinner shows. You will also manage video content and projection mapping using Resolume Arena and work closely with creative directors and performers to ensure a smooth, visually synchronised production. Your main responsibilities will include the following: \nDesigning and operating lighting for a live dinner show that engages all the senses. Both on stage and in the space\nLiaising with the Artistic Director and performance teamsSetting up and programming lighting fixtures and consoles\nLive lighting control during the performance to ensure precision and responsiveness.\nUse of Resolume Arena for playback of video elements, projection mapping\nSynchronisation of lighting and video cues with the sound of the show, live performances and automated sequences. (Using the timecode system)\nMaintaining the lighting system, troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating with the technical team of for system updates.\nParticipate in rehearsals and cue-to-cue sessions to refine timing and creative cohesion.\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nAt least 2 years proven experience in lighting design or as a lighting operator, preferably in theatres, cabarets, entertainment parks or immersive hospitality environments.\nStrong portfolio demonstrating creative lighting design.\nGood working knowledge of lighting control systems such as GrandMA, Chamsys, Avolites or similar.\nAdvanced knowledge of Resolume Arena, including video playback and possible mapping of projection.\nSolid understanding of lighting theory, colour and atmosphere in the context of a live performance.\nPassion for team orientated work and the ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule.\nExperience with video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, After Effects).\nKnowledge of live audio and cue-based software systems.\nFamiliarity with theatrical rigging and safety practices.\nExperience designing atmospheric lighting for intimate or upscale environments.\nExperience in immersive, interactive or themed entertainment is a plus.\nAbility to work evenings and weekends as well as take show specific calls.\n
