Job Skills / Requirements Light Maintenance Supprt Technician Needed. Pay is dependent upon experience. $17-$20 per hour. Room for company growth. Essential Accountabilities: 1. Ability to support the maintenance staff in various duties including but not limited to: Performing small repairs, plumbing, painting, replacing lights, weeding. 2. Employee will have basic knowledge of these areas 3. Position will cover multiple locations throught a school district. May report to multiple locations throughout the day. 4. May perform Daily Routine Building (DRB) inspections reporting findings of repairs needed. Other Accountabilities: 1. Oversee outside vendors when necessary. 2. Obtain from warehouse any necessary materials as needed to complete tasks. 3. Secure needed supplies or equipment from maintenance shops and notify proper person of any additional supplies or equipment needs. 4. Observe and report any unusual or emergency situations to the Manager or Director of Facilities Operations 5. Make recommendations to immediate supervisor about how methods and procedures may be improved. 6. Work with other trades within the Facilities Maintenance Department as needed to complete repairs or projects. Department Specific Competencies: 1. Familiarize self with Department policies and procedures. 2. Become familiar with property, buildings and systems. 3. Work safely, be knowledgeable with all Department Safety Policies and attentive to all safety talks, special instructions and posted safety signs throughout the work area.
