Join a dynamic team: Within our Technical Department, our team, specialized in lifting devices and equipment installed on ships and offshore platforms, is seeking a Structural Calculation Engineer.

 

Your role is to ensure the technical compliance of your projects by conducting structural verifications using our technical software.

 

Your main missions:

Evaluating the structural design of lifting appliances and equipment in accordance with Bureau Veritas regulations or any other recognized standards. Conduct structural calculations using internally or externally developed tools and software (e.g., BV STEEL, FEM, etc.). Contributing to the development and validation processes of Bureau Veritas regulations and their associated calculation tools.

 

Your strengths for success:

Training and experience: You hold a degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or naval architecture, with solid knowledge of material strength and structural calculations. Experience in the field of lifting appliance structures, as well as associated regulations and construction standards, would be a valuable asset. Personal qualities: You demonstrate rigor, a strong sense of teamwork, autonomy, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Language skills: You have a good command of English, enabling you to communicate effectively with clients, teams, and our international network. Technical skills: You are proficient in using calculation tools and software (e.g., BV STEEL, FEM). Mobility: You are open to occasional travel.
