Lift Truck Associate (LTO) | Hiring Immediately | KINSTON, NC

 

Compensation Includes:

 

Starting Pay Rate of $17.18 - $20.90/hour depending on experience - paid weekly

 

Available Shift:

 

1st: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Medical, Dental, Vision Prescription drug coverage401K with a company match New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details)Healthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accountsCorporate discounts Responsibilities WIP moves into and out of production areas using forkliftSupplies empty pallets to Press and PadlockerMaintains organization of corrugate, roll and WIP storage areas ensuring products are separated by size, product or job number as appropriateRemoves waste and recyclables (lap waste, roll covers, core plugs, etc.) from press areaPerform daily forklift inspections while ensuring the weekly checklist is completedCompletes all necessary paperwork for receipt of raw materials and enters information into SAP as appropriateSupplies and stages corrugate for the Finishing DepartmentSupplies and stages roll for the pressAssists OPMR in tagging and putting ink/solvents into chemical storageAssist in Shipping as requiredLoad Scrap Bale Truck recording tags as appropriateReceives and stores sundry items (shrink wrap, paper products, etc.) as requiredBands and wraps load for shipment when necessaryPerform duties of Padlocker/Baler as requiredPerforms other related duties that contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Ability to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and applies good mathematical reasoningKnowledge of applicable machines to operate, troubleshoot and conduct minor repairsCompetency in forklift operations is strongly preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and effectively with little to no supervisionStrong organizational skills and the ability to be detail orientedPositive work attitude and willingness to cooperate
