**Job Posting: Ski Lift Installation Project at Lutsen Resort, Minnesota** **Project Overview** We are currently undertaking an exciting project to install a new high-speed, six-seat ski lift at Lutsen Resort in Minnesota. This lift will feature ten towers. Our current crew consists of four experienced individuals, all of whom were brought back by the Project Manager from a previous project in California. We are seeking additional candidates to join our team, specifically for the concrete portion of the work, which is expected to last approximately three months. Exceptional performers may have the opportunity to stay on for the steel installation phase, with the entire project scheduled to conclude by mid to late October. **Job Responsibilities** + Concrete Work: Assist with the installation of the lift, focusing on the concrete foundation work for the first half of the project. + Steel Installation: For those who continue beyond the concrete phase, assist with the steel fitting and installation, including working at heights for approximately two weeks. + General Labor: Support various labor tasks to ensure the project is completed on time and to high standards. **Qualifications** + Concrete: Experience in concrete work is essential for the initial phase of the project. + Steel and Equipment Experience: To remain for the steel phase, candidates should have experience with telehandlers and forklifts, and be confident driving off-road in a 4x4 vehicle. Previous experience with steel fitting and crane operation is highly desirable. + Physical Requirements: Candidates must be physically capable of hiking at altitude and regularly lifting 50 lbs. **Desired Skills** + Concrete work + Steel fitting + Form carpentry + Rebar installation + Hardscaping + Landscaping + Forklift operation + Telehandler operation + Crane operation **Additional Skills and Experience** + At least one year of construction experience is preferred. + Previous experience with rigging, concrete form setting, concrete finishing, or landscaping is advantageous. **Attitude and Work Environment** + Positive Attitude: We value team members who are enthusiastic about their work and the skiing/snowboarding environment. + Adaptability: Candidates must be open to working in harsh weather conditions and willing to spend extended periods away from home. Long weekends away are permitted with a minimum of two weeks' notice to the supervisor. + Commitment: The project is already underway and will be completed by the last week of October at the latest.
