Job Summary
The Life Support Program Coordinator is responsible and accountable for supporting and/or facilitating the ongoing Responder, BLS, ALS, ASLS, and PALS educational needs of personnel throughout Novant Health.

Qualifications
+ Education: High School or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, certification or degree in Nursing, Health.
+ Experience: Previous life support teaching, leadership and program management experience, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: Relevant instructor/trainer cert (BLS, ACLS, PALS) , preferred. Relevant instructor/trainer cert (NRP/ASLS) , preferred.
+ Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; effective classroom presentation style; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations; ability to write effectively.
