As a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) & Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Expert, you will play a vital role in supporting our internal partners across a diverse portfolio of products, services, and software.
You’ll be part of the Robust Eco Design (RED) team, driving environmental transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainability performance across Siemens' global portfolio.
You’ll make an impact by
Product Declarations (EPD) for products, services, and software Collecting and validating environmental data, ensuring high quality and completeness for assessments and
regulatory requirements Contributing to the implementation of Robust Eco Design (RED) within product development processes for
hardware, software, and services Taking responsibility for documentation and training activities to foster awareness and consistent
application across the organization Collaborating in scaling and automating LCA/EPD processes across the business, supporting IT integration
and process optimization Coordinating environmental protection activities related to product compliance (PrEP), including alignment
with legal standards (REACH, RoHS, EU Taxonomy, etc.) Working closely with international partners and EHS teams to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance
This is how you'll win us over:
Education: Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field
Experience & Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in LCA and EPD development Solid understanding of environmental standards (e.g. ISO 14020, ISO 14040 series) Knowledge of key environmental regulations such as EPD III, EPBD, REACH, RoHS, EU Taxonomy Basic understanding of database management and experience with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools Affinity for IT and digital tools; experience with automation initiatives is a plusWays of working:
Strong analytical thinking and structured working style Detail-oriented and well-organized with a proactive approach Mindset for digital transformation and change management Excellent collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional and international teamsLanguages:
