Principal responsibilities

Investigate and uncover unlicensed use of our indexes, protecting our intellectual property rightsPerform audits of client usage as needed, ensuring accurate reporting and calculation of index feesConduct market studies to identify potential areas for licensing opportunities. Actively seek and identify new business opportunities by analysing market trends and client needs, driving growth and expansionIdentify potential leads related to licensing opportunities and communicate findings to the Client Coverage teams for follow-up and engagement

University degree with proven years of experience in banking and financial industry, preferably in a licensing, business development role

Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail to conduct market research and detect unlicensed use

Proactive and self-initiated to work independently and seek out new opportunities in dynamic environment

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese Putonghua)

Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes

Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
